To understand Domaine Kuheiji, you must transport yourself across traditions. As the 15th generation of a historic brewing family, Mr. Kuno realized that fine sake and wine speak the exact same language, where terroir, vintage, and natural craft dictate the soul of what is in the glass.
To cross this bridge between two worlds, head brewer Hirotaka Ito moved to Burgundy to master viticulture, applying centuries of Japanese brewing philosophy to French soil.
Terroir Wines and Yamazato invite you to discover these new horizons. Guided by Hirotaka Ito, this sommelier masterclass explores how Burgundian winemaking and Japanese sake brewing inspire one another, offering side-by-side comparative tastings, deep technical insights, and compelling tableside stories for your beverage program.
